Beille mountain plateau Natural sites in Les Cabannes

Located in Ariège, the Beille plateau has an average altitude of 1,000 m. In the past, it was the kingdom of cows and sheep, who came to graze peacefully there. Today, it is a renowned cross-country ski resort, popular with families. The resort has 70 km of cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails and a dog sledding school. There are also two very beautiful toboggan runs with ski lifts for fun without getting tired.

In summer, the Beille plateau offers superb hikes for all levels, the GR10 passes through. It is also a stopping point for the Tour de France.
