  The wait was incredibly long, even though there were only two of us. We asked for advice on easy, family-friendly hikes, and ended up on a not-so-easy hike to the Étang de Comte. We had asked about van access, and well, thanks, but it would have been suicide to drive up to the trailhead for the pond in a van because the road is steep and not suitable for vans, not to mention the limited parking at the end. In short, we were quite disappointed with the advice. As for fishing spots, well, you're on your own because you're tourists, we're not going to give you our favorite spots. We'll give you the federation's booklet and tell you to call the presidents and managers of the local fishing associations. And the smiles and welcoming atmosphere were nowhere to be seen. In short, we'll be back; perhaps it was just a long day.
