    • The Ars waterfall in Couserans is considered one of the most beautiful in the Pyrenees. It is located at the end of a hike of approximately 3.5 hours round trip, which begins in the commune of Aulus-les-Bains. It is a pleasant walk, to do with the family (be careful, it is steep, more than 600m of elevation gain), to observe this remarkable site of the Pyrenees mountain range.

      It consists of 3 stages of falls for a total height of almost 2.50m ! You will definitely observe it after a period of rain in May, rather in spring and summer in general.

    Everything is good, hike of 3h30 and more, waterfalls on a large part of the route. Very busy with a friendly atmosphere. No markings but quite passable, some kilometers a little more hilly and a greater elevation gain. The plus also sunny day... damn didn't see any bears...

    A wonderfull waterfall. Don't forget to take the GR10 up to the Passerelle d'Ars and the sidesteps to the right of the route, as you'll have great close-up views of the waterfall from there.
