About

  • English
    • The Orlu National Fauna and Flora Reserve protects the specific fauna of the Orlu Valley : the chamois, the marmot and the otter, but also many birds and fish and rare specimens of carnivorous plants. You might be able to surprise them, while walking in the reserve or using the Orlu Mountain Observatory.

      To better understand it, we recommend you visit the Maison de la Réserve. All kinds of activities are organized there or possible on your own:

      • Hikes through the “Prairie aux Marmottes”;
      • Bike rides on its cycle paths, particularly around the Savignac ponds;
      • Climbing on the routes of the “Dents d'Orlu”;
      • Swimming in its waterfalls and rivers;
      • Fishing, especially in Ariège ...
