  Very pleasant campsite with a very attentive staff. Very clean restrooms. Very good restaurant (the duck breast and trout are delicious, as is the Camembert). The terrace is great for a beer after a long hike. Thank you for the stay and long live the Stade.... Rochelais 😉🟡⚫

  We had a wonderful time at Camping La Forge in Ascou. We stayed in a wooden chalet, which was very neat and well-maintained. Everything was clean upon arrival, and the chalet offered plenty of comfort for a relaxing stay in the mountains. A big plus was the good Wi-Fi, which is certainly not a given at campsites in this region. Ideal for those who want to stay in touch with home or have to get some work done. The campsite restaurant deserves a special mention: the food was excellent! Local dishes, freshly prepared and served with care – every meal was a delight. The campsite owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. While their English is limited, a little generosity and a smile go a long way. Their warm welcome made our stay even more enjoyable. In short: highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, comfort, and delicious food in the French Pyrenees!
