Camping d'Orlu - 3 stars Family campsite in Orlu in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees

Come and recharge your batteries in the Orlu Valley!

Our small 3*** mountain campsite is located at an altitude of 850 metres at the gateway to the Orlu National Reserve, a protected natural area where observing wild animals such as marmots, chamois and golden eagles is king!

At the "Ioules campsite", don't look for summer dancing or a mojito bar because in our valley, it's the spectacle of nature and biodiversity that will surprise you.

For the past 2 years, our campsite has been undergoing major changes and renovations to offer you a natural, shared and eco-responsible site , with:

• Access to La Camina “an active mobility route” for bicycles, strollers and walkers

For the landscapes, the Orlu campsite stands out from the others by its exceptional location on the banks of the Oriège river and facing the famous Dent d'Orlu.
In the valley, you will also find a multitude of nature and leisure activities (Maison des Loups, Akrobranch, etc.) as well as pleasant walks and hikes for the whole family.

The Orlu campsite is only 5 km from Ax-les-Thermes where all services are available: medical center (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, etc.), supermarket, farmers' market, souvenir shops, cinema, casino, etc.

Open: from April 1st to November 1st.

86 pitches: 80 to 100 m².

Electrical Equipment: 22 electrical terminals with 4 to 6 sockets are distributed throughout the campsite (6 Amps and 10 Amps). The sockets are French and European types, but we do not provide adapters.

Water supply: 8 “water” terminals placed in strategic locations.

A chemical toilet reel is available. There is no equipment for emptying campervans.

In our campsite you will find 2 sanitary blocks , one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility with a shower, a sink and a toilet. You will also find at the entrance of the campsite, 1 special block for people with reduced mobility with a walk-in shower, sink and adapted toilet. In addition, in this block, a room has been specially designed for babies (with a bathtub, a changing table and a sink) as well as a room with a washing machine, dryer.
