  We spent two nights at La Pibola campsite as a family (two adults and two children), and unfortunately, our experience was not positive. Upon arrival, the accommodation was in a very poor state of cleanliness, with numerous cobwebs and more than 30 visible spiders. We understand that it is a natural environment, but we felt that the accommodation was not in suitable condition to receive new guests. In fact, we had to clean some of the cobwebs ourselves. The situation was quite uncomfortable: my wife barely slept, and the children also suffered. The following day, we reported the incident, and we were offered a change of accommodation for the third night. We appreciated the gesture, but the new accommodation was very similar to the previous one and did not really solve the problem, so we decided not to continue our stay. After the trip, we contacted the establishment politely to explain what had happened and suggest that, given the inconvenience, some form of partial compensation would have been appropriate. The response we received was, in our opinion, quite defensive: they denied the cleanliness issues, stating that they found no evidence after our departure and attributing the situation to a previous misunderstanding related to a cancellation attempt months earlier. Furthermore, the tone they used seemed inappropriate, even going so far as to consider the dialogue closed. For our part, we responded respectfully, reiterating that the problems were real (and explaining that, for example, some cobwebs were gone because we had cleaned them ourselves) and that we felt it was unfair to question our intention to enjoy our stay, given the long journey we had made from Spain. In short, while these kinds of situations can happen, we believe the most important thing is how they are handled. In our case, we felt there was a lack of customer service, better management of the issue, and more empathetic communication afterward.
