  I offered a meal to my son and his wife; already at the order a very kind and friendly welcome. The gentleman told me, don't worry, I will pamper them. Several months later, they insisted, telling me that they were very well received and that they had indeed been pampered. This should be clarified because restaurants do not treat meal gifts in the same way, So thank you to the team at La Madeleine de Proust whose cuisine is always very good.

  I've been wanting to have lunch in this restaurant for a while, today I decided it was the moment. Attracted by the restaurant ticket and restaurant voucher inscription, I returned, but we will come back to that. The room has an old decoration and a warm atmosphere where I found certain memories in the objects, the name of the restaurant was not chosen by chance. The server who greeted me was friendly and cordial and matched the dynamic of the room well. Served quickly, I started with a beef tataki in its lunch formula, although I was not impressed visually, the taste was nevertheless there. A very well controlled sweet and savory taste and a perfect texture, I didn't leave a crumb on my plate, a pure treat for a meal that started off with a bang. Quickly moving on to the dish, the "poularde" which was the dish arrived in front of me during the dressing... surprising. The piece was a thigh and its counter-thigh with the bones, which does not allow tasting with simple cutlery. I found myself adding salt and pepper present on the table to enhance the flavors, which was not practical with coarse salt although pretty in presentation. Everything was good yes, nothing more really, a little comeback after the very good entrance. I then decided to stop there having still had a good time and everything was plentiful. However, my surprise came here. Without any suspicion on my part I wanted to pay with a restaurant ticket as indicated on the storefront and this was refused! Supposedly they weren't getting payment or something. No problem in itself but unacceptable to mark it possible on the front door and announce it to me at the time of payment. 31 euros for this lunch (23rd main course + dessert and 1 glass of white wine), I would have known, I wouldn't have gone there on a whim like that. This unpleasant surprise greatly affected my experience here, not rolling in gold, I would have only had one dish. The competition is severe in the neighborhood or even the street, it's a nice place but I don't think it will be my priority to come back.
