Open from the beginning of May, La Fruitière welcomes you to the heart of the Pyrenees: closed only on Mondays until June 30, it is open 7 days a week during the months of July and August to fully enjoy the summer season in the mountains.

At the entrance to the Lutour valley, in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, at an altitude of 1374 meters, La Fruitière is a true landmark for gourmet hikers.

In a setting that is both friendly and authentic, Corinne and Patxi welcome visitors throughout the year for a local culinary experience, from Bigorre to the Basque Country : blueberry tart, Pyrenees trout, mountain lamb, and much more.

Homemade, local cuisine full of finesse

In the kitchen, Patxi makes it a point of honor to cook with locally sourced ingredients, working directly with local producers. His cuisine, both authentic and refined, subtly blends tradition and creativity. Light sauces, well-balanced condiments, and touches of garlic or spices enhance each dish without ever weighing it down.

Suckling lamb, fresh trout, and slow-cooked dishes (such as pork ribs or lamb) are all delightful. Homemade desserts, like blueberry tart with white chocolate ganache, perfectly complement the experience.

Corinne and her team provide attentive service and will guide you through a balanced wine list, as kind to the taste buds as it is to the bill.
