The Luz-Saint-Sauveur thermal baths have a medical but also recreational vocation.
Luzea is a balneotherapy center for the whole family, opened in 1996. There are pools for the enjoyment of its hot waters and also treatment rooms and more intimate pools for relaxation and well-being.
Body treatments, massages and other body treatments are available à la carte.
The medical thermal center offers a whole range of treatments for respiratory, gynecological and phlebological conditions. The water temperature is on average 33°.
Luz-Saint-Sauveur is a mountain village with its fortified Saint André church. It is renowned for its thermal baths, much loved by Eugénie and Napoleon III, who had a bridge built in 1860 to extend the road from Saint Sauveur to Gavarnie.
Luz-Saint-Sauveur is ideally located at the crossroads of the Tourmalet and Pierrefitte roads. Toy means "small" in Catalan, like the fifteen hilltop villages (Viscos, Sazos, Viella, Viey, Sers, etc.) in the surrounding area.
