    • DOMAINE DOU BERNÈS – AN AUTHENTIC STOP BETWEEN TOULOUSE AND THE PYRENEES

A haven in the heart of the Gascon hills

Just a few miles from the Pyrenees, Domaine Dou Bernès, located in Aydie, invites you to escape the everyday. In this peaceful corner of Béarn, the hillsides are adorned with meticulously tended vines where the emblematic grape varieties of Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh flourish. Here, nature shapes the landscape and inspires every gesture of the winemaker.

A know-how passed down and alive

For generations, the family has cultivated the vines with respect and precision. Their deep and structured Madiran wines sit alongside their sweet and fragrant Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh whites. Each vintage is born from a balance of tradition, exacting standards, and passion, offering visitors a genuine glimpse into the vineyards of Southwest France.

A friendly stop for those curious about wine and nature

Travelers from Toulouse or en route to the Pyrenees will find a simple and warm welcome here. The estate offers guided tastings, cellar tours, and discussions about the winemaking craft. The experience unfolds at a leisurely pace, in a setting where vineyards dominate the horizon.

      Advantage of the domain

Domaine Dou Bernès is appealing due to its ideal location between plains and mountains, perfect for an authentic break on the Southwest wine route.

A very warm welcome from a wine enthusiast. The open house at your place is a lovely experience, as are the artisans who are there that day. The most surprising thing was your perfectly organized meal. The menu was superb, and the atmosphere was wonderful. A big thank you to your team.
