Domain of Ribonnet Wine estate between Lèze and Garonne 30 km from Toulouse

Since the 15th century, Ribonnet Castle has stood proudly on a hill at an altitude of 260 meters, between Lèze and Garonne, in Beaumont sur Lèze, south of Toulouse. Belonging to the Toulouse nobility until the French Revolution of 1789, the castle has seen several owners including the father of aviation, Clément Ader. The latter left his mark on the estate by modernizing the vineyard.

Since the 1970s, the Gerber family has been dedicated to reviving this terroir. The estate is located at the crossroads of oceanic and Mediterranean influences and also benefits from the advantages of the Pyrenean foothills.

The entire vineyard has been managed organically since 2001. On the 24 hectares of the estate, 14 grape varieties are vinified in plots: Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Marselan and Grenache (first harvest expected in 2024), Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin, Viognier, Aligoté and Albarino (first harvest 2024). The harvest is manual and interventions in the cellar are minimal in order to best preserve the expression of our terroir. The vines benefit from permanent grass cover. Work in the vineyard is done exclusively by hand.

Our range of wines is diverse to meet all tastes and desires: white, rosé, red and sparkling wines.

We offer tours lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, during which you can visit the cellars built by Clément Ader and discover the wines of our estate.

We are also able to welcome you on site!

In addition to its pleasant living room, our cottage has two bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 4 people.

Whether you're traveling for business or on vacation, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet you need to recharge your batteries in the shade of the trees in the castle grounds. There are many walks to take, during which you might even have the opportunity to admire the Pyrenees.

Room rental: the Ribonnet estate has two rooms that can accommodate up to 80 people. Ideal for your corporate events or family reunions. In a quiet setting, you can enjoy the castle grounds or a beautiful terrace with a view of the Pyrenees.
