    • Domaine de Cadeillac: A unique wine gem in the Comminges

Nestled in Lavelanet-de-Comminges, the Domaine de Cadeillac stands out as the only wine estate in Comminges (31). Passionately managed by Bertrand Henry for 20 years, this 10-hectare vineyard perpetuates ancestral know-how by producing exceptional red, white, rosé and sparkling wines. Certified in organic farming since 2015 and benefiting from the IGP Comté Tolosan, the estate has varied grape varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, Mauzac and Cabernet Sauvignon. This diversity of grape varieties, combined with a unique terroir composed of gravel, silt and rolled pebbles from the Garonne terraces, gives the Cadeillac wines an incomparable local character.

A deep commitment to biodynamics and respect for nature

Domaine de Cadeillac stands out for its innovative and natural approach, promoting a living soil where the natural cycle prevails over human intervention. Bertrand Henry made the bold choice of animal traction, introducing a Percheron mare for the vineyard work in 2021. This method, combined with meticulous manual work and the use of biodynamic preparations, allows the vines to be cultivated in perfect harmony with their environment. The attention paid to lunar and astral rhythms, as well as the management of plant cooperation, contribute to creating wines that faithfully reflect the identity of the terroir. In the cellar, this philosophy continues through various methods of aging in oak barrels, amphorae and ovoid vats, giving rise to a varied range including traditional, natural wines and refined vintages.

A 100% Comminge wine tourism experience

Beyond its excellent wine production, Domaine de Cadeillac has established itself as a key player in local wine tourism. Wine lovers are invited to discover this unique heritage through guided tours of the vineyard and on-site tastings, offering a total immersion in the wine world of Comminges. Bertrand Henry, a true ambassador of his region, also organizes events that have become emblematic, such as the Trail des Vignes in November and the Jazz Evening in July. These initiatives, coupled with the exceptional quality of the wines produced, make Domaine de Cadeillac an essential destination for oenophiles in search of authenticity and unique flavors.

To experience a passion for 100% Comminges wine and vines and to taste the estate's different vintages, visitors are encouraged to contact us by email or telephone.
