Domaine de Lastronques: An Ariège vineyard in Lézat-sur-Lèze

On the edge of the Ariège department, the 16 hectares of vineyards at Domaine de Lastronques are located on the slopes of the Lèze Valley, facing the Pyrenees. For the past few years, Laure Zeller has been working on the estate run by her parents, Andrea and Christian.

Actors in the revival of the Ariège vineyards since the 2000s, the IGP Ariège appellation has existed since 2013.

The family estate vinifies grapes from about ten different grape varieties : Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Gris, Chenin Blanc, and Petit and Gros Manseng. The range of products offered is wide, from white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines, ranging from fruity and light to more tannic, always with a lovely freshness.

Natural vineyards

The vines, which have been certified as Organic Agriculture since 2024, have been naturally grassed since planting and light soil work is done under the vine.

Around and within the vineyards, biodiversity is maintained through the preservation of hedges, groves, and forests. We are part of the LIFE Biodiv'Paysanne program, which aims to preserve the natural spaces, fauna, and local flora of the Occitanie region, among the richest in metropolitan France in terms of biodiversity.

The Domaine organizes various events, including open-air dances on the first Fridays of June and July. Other evenings are planned throughout the year; please visit our website for details.

It is possible to organize group visits and tastings and every Saturday morning to taste the wines.
