Located in Carla-de-Roquefort, 25 minutes from Foix, the Distillerie du Sud offers premium products to enjoy year-round. Gin, vodka, or brandy— indulge in products carefully crafted by Steve, a producer who showcases his local terroir through distilled spirits.

In 2016, Steve settled in a former apple farm, the largest estate in the area, which would become the production site for premium gin, vodka, and brandy renowned in the region. Distilling is a story of passion for him. With patience and meticulous attention to detail, Steve selects high-quality raw materials from the property's vast forest, local producers, and his own greenhouse for botanicals. Juniper berries come from Laroque-d'Olmes, Sichuan pepper from Carla-de-Roquefort, and the wine for the brandy from Château Longpré near Pamiers, all contributing to the creation of exceptional products. His work has been rewarded, as "Le Randonneur" gin and "Piste Noire" vodka received silver medals at the London Spirits Competition in 2020. Enjoy artisanal distilleries in Ariège.

Open every day except Wednesday afternoon, the Distillerie du Sud shop is a veritable treasure trove of distilled products. Start with a guided tour of the estate led by Steve, before sampling the delicious drinks on offer. Gin, vodka, or brandy —the aromas are refined and delicate, coating the palate with rich and fruity notes. On weekends, please call ahead. Distillerie du Sud also travels to various markets, gourmet fairs, and some night markets during the summer.
