Volvestre, an ideal base for exploring the wonders of Occitanie!

Welcome to Volvestre, a corner of Haute-Garonne where you can breathe, where you take your time and savor it, far from the crowds but at the heart of what is essential.

Just a few kilometers south of Toulouse, Volvestre offers landscapes and places to recharge and share convivial moments.

Between its markets, its places for walks and hikes, its natural areas, and its centers, the Volvestre is also a land of heritage: Carbonne and the statues of the sculptor Abbal, Longages and its Art Deco hall, one of only two in France, Montbrun-Bocage and its dreamy market, Montesquieu-Volvestre, the town where the pruning shears were born, Mauzac and Noé and their history, Rieux-Volvestre, the episcopal city and Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze with its French Rugby champions.

These are all towns of character whose streets have preserved vestiges of the past that tell their story. Worth discovering.

You can also walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of Saint James of Compostela along the Garonne on the Via Garona (GR861).
