A NEW ERA FOR THE THERMAL BATHS OF LUCHON

Luchon, nicknamed "The Queen of the Pyrenees", is a thermal spa that is two thousand years old, recognized over the centuries for the quality of its hyperthermal waters, the most sulfurous in the Pyrenees. Located on the Spanish border, in the heart of the Pyrenees, offering an exceptional environment and climate that break with the allergenic and polluting daily life, Luchon benefits from inexhaustible thermal water resources that rank it among the first French spas for respiratory tract and rheumatology.

The thermal baths of Luchon, with their rich heritage, are getting a new start.
If the facades of the historical buildings are not affected, the works are concentrated on a restructuring of the interior spaces to propose a more efficient and harmonious care course. Since March 27, 2023, patients can follow their treatment path in brighter, more modern and comfortable spaces thanks to the renovation of the treatment rooms and their equipment. By the end of 2024, on the first floor of the Chambert building, a Spa will offer beauty treatments and massages as well as wellness activities. We will have to wait until spring 2024 to enjoy the most visible part of the project: the extension of the thermoludic space. It will offer 3 pools on 2 levels, including two covered pools and an outdoor pool on a terrace, bordered by a solarium. The center will also be enriched with sensory showers, Jacuzzi, sauna, cold activities and a sports and fitness room.

It specifically treats :

• problems of osteoarthritis, lumbago and sciatica, the aftermath of surgery (hip, spine), inflammatory rheumatism and algodystrophy (for everything that concerns rheumatology)
• recurrent infections of the respiratory tract (rhinitis, rhino-pharyngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, laryngitis), asthma, bronchitis (for everything that concerns ENT but also ear pathologies).

The spa of Luchon also offers 5-day freedom cures (respiratory tract and rheumatology), children's cures (ENT - respiratory tract) and a specific Fibromyalgia program.
