A new era for the Luchon thermal baths

Luchon, nicknamed "The Queen of the Pyrenees," is a spa town with a history spanning two thousand years, renowned throughout the centuries for the quality of its hyperthermal waters, the most sulfurous in the Pyrenees. Located on the Spanish border, in the heart of the Pyrenees, offering an exceptional environment and climate that provides a welcome respite from the allergenic and polluting everyday environment, Luchon benefits from inexhaustible thermal water resources, ranking it among the leading French spa towns for respiratory and rheumatological conditions.

The Luchon thermal baths, with their rich heritage, are getting a new start.
While the facades of the historic buildings remain untouched, the work focuses on restructuring the interior spaces to offer a more efficient and harmonious treatment experience. Since March 27, 2023, spa guests have been able to enjoy their treatments in brighter, more modern, and more comfortable spaces thanks to the renovation of the treatment rooms and their equipment. Starting in late 2024, a spa on the first floor of the Chambert building will offer beauty treatments, massages, and wellness activities. The most visible part of the project, the expansion of the thermal leisure area, will open in spring 2024. It will feature three pools on two levels, including two indoor pools and an outdoor pool on a terrace, bordered by a solarium. The facility will also be enhanced with sensory showers, a jacuzzi, a sauna, cold plunge pools, and a gym and fitness center.

It specifically addresses :

• problems with osteoarthritis, lower back pain and sciatica, post-surgical recovery (hip, spine), inflammatory rheumatism and algodystrophy (for everything related to rheumatology)
• recurrent respiratory tract infections (rhinitis, rhinopharyngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, laryngitis), asthma, bronchitis (for everything related to ENT but also ear pathologies).

The Luchon thermal spa also offers 5-day freedom cures (respiratory tract and rheumatology), children's cures (ENT - respiratory tract) and a specific Fibromyalgia program.
