The two high-altitude villages of the Peyragudes resort are now connected to the valley village of Loudenvielle. Skyvall, the valley lift, thus allows the Haute Vallée du Louron to be connected to Peyragudes in less than 9 minutes. In winter, access to the Peyragudes ski slopes is very easy with a cable car ride without having to take the road. The resort is connected to the most typical village in the South-West, Loudenvielle.

Loudenvielle, a charming and characterful village made of old stones and lively alleys, is nestled against the sparkling Lake Génos-Loudenvielle. Enjoy its naturally warm waters at Balnéa, its shops, its activities, its Arixo cinema and its Valgora sports and cultural complex.

It offers a deep and soothing atmosphere to share special moments with family and friends. Its exceptional and preserved nature, its terroir with generous flavors and aromas as well as its multitude of activities make it possible to offer friendly mountain experiences.

Nestled at an altitude of 1600 meters, Peyresourde, literally “Deaf Stone” is the name of the slope located in the Hautes-Pyrénées of the Peyragudes resort.

4 kilometers from the commune of Gouaux-de-Larboust, is the village of Agudes, in the department of Haute-Garonne. It is the second slope of the resort.

Thanks to Skyvall, all the activities in the valley are easily accessible and add to the many possibilities offered by the Peyragudes resort.

In winter, apart from skiing and multi-sport activities available at the Peyragudes ski resort and its 65 km of slopes, 19 ski lifts between 1600m and 2400m, guaranteed snow thanks to 270 snow cannons and its 10 kilometres of marked and free circuits await those wishing to go snowshoeing or ski touring.

Many original activities can also be practiced such as the zip line. It is accessed via the Snow White carpet, then Let's go for 335 meters of sliding, suspended at 8 m high, in 3 successive sections to finish with a quick flight. We also have fun on airboard, an inflatable streamlined sled that we practice lying flat and which allows us to make beautiful curves, or even the snake gliss and its 15 sleds assembled together for descents with family or friends.

It is also possible to rent SNOOCs (a device between a Snowscoot and a sledge with a very low center of gravity), a winter sports activity that makes skiing and discovering the mountains accessible. You can start on a green slope or go accompanied by an instructor for a descent at the end of the day with a resort instructor, guaranteed skiing sensations without necessarily knowing how to ski (SNOOC rented with a chairlift ride).

Not forgetting igloo building for ages 4 and up, or wild runs on the only Pumptrack in the Pyrenees at the foot of the slopes or in Loudenvielle, tarmac courses, fun on skateboards, scooters or BMX.

The regular passage of the Tour de France has made the Louron Valley a superb showcase for all fans of the Petite Reine with legendary climbs through the Cols de Peyresourde, Val Louron-Azet and Aspin and equally legendary stage finishes at Altiport 007 in Peyragudes.

On the roads and on the trails, everything is designed to make the journey easier for mountain bikers and road cyclists, lovers of wide open spaces and pushing themselves to the limit. Labeled " French Cycling Federation ", the Louron Valley is a reference destination in the world of cycle tourism. It offers 480 km of marked mountain bike trails spread between the bottom of the valley, the slopes of Val Louron and the Peyragudes resort, from the highest peaks accessible by cable car or chairlift, to the trails of the valley bottoms passing by the banks of the lakes, nature has shaped a magnificent terrain of discovery.

The Louron Valley offers breathtaking natural scenery, whether you're a fan of long hikes or an occasional walker. Nature lovers can explore the many marked trails that crisscross the mountain and valley.

The Sherpa base, located at an altitude of 1,450 m, offers cani-rando excursions connected to a sled dog by an elastic leash in the summer, a mode of travel used by trappers in the Far North. In winter, there are dog sledding excursions for young and old.
