    • With its superb stone fireplace and its reproduction of Caravaggio's Supper at Emmaus, the gourmet restaurant Le Cénacle promises an unforgettable culinary experience.

Hidden behind the ancient facades of the Pink City, the Le Cénacle restaurant at La Cour des Consuls Hôtel & Spa is a setting in which chef Hippolyte Peters Desteract creates bold, traditional and modern cuisine.

Each dish is an invitation to a unique taste journey, where the creativity and know-how of the Chef are revealed in each bite and through perfect pairings.

In the elegant and confidential decor of this restaurant, the chef takes you on a visual and olfactory journey with a balance between traditional and Mediterranean cuisine. A reading of the dishes where all the senses are invited. The eye must guess the flavors before the taste buds.

An exceptional setting, a prestigious establishment with a restaurant that meets the standards of high-end cuisine in almost every way, except... the cuisine isn't quite up to par with fine, haute cuisine. My husband and I had lunch there on September 26th. Starter: Perfect egg, mushroom duxelles, and goat cheese mousse => perfect Main course: roasted monkfish for me, quite disappointed because it was a bit chewy, as is always the case with this type of fish when it's a bit overcooked! The vegetable tartlet as a side dish was very (too) creamy and served strangely cold with a hot (?) main course. For my husband: pork (loin or belly?) The type of pig that prefers slow, long cooking for a nice tenderness. But here, the meat, presumably sautéed in a pan and cut into large cubes, was quite "tough" to eat. On the other hand, the einkorn side dish was beautifully seasoned and delicious, just as it should be. The desserts: nothing to complain about. Very good. Note, as an aperitif, a beautiful platter of very well-prepared and delicious appetizers. After dessert, a lovely platter of excellent petits fours, even before we had coffee. We were very satisfied with this meal, except for the lack of mastery in cooking the main courses. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

A wonderful experience: a magnificent setting, excellent and refined dishes, and a welcoming and friendly team. An experience not to be missed! A special mention goes to Mathis, our cocktail master, who concocted an extraordinary food and non-alcoholic cocktail pairing for our two sons. Congratulations to all!

The food was mediocre - on Michelin one star level. We did not like too much beetroot and goat cheese as a starter, the taste was not as good as it could have been... Pig and carrots was well-made...

We enjoyed our diner in this restaurant, affordable for a one star Michelin restaurant with a good price/quality ratio. Good level of service.
