  A 5-star hotel? Definitely not in terms of service. This was our third visit in five years, and there has been absolutely no improvement to the rooms during that entire time. They clearly don't meet the standard of an establishment of this caliber. After my stay, I (definitely) forgot a valuable jacket in my room's closet. I called immediately the next day: no responsiveness, no organization, and above all, no accountability. I was given the runaround for several days with incoherent excuses ("the person who cleaned your room was on a temporary contract," "we can't check today," etc.). The result: my jacket has mysteriously "disappeared," and the hotel simply tells me they haven't found it. No transparency, no follow-up, and no real investigation. For a 5-star hotel, this is simply unacceptable. The attitude of some of the reception staff leaves much to be desired: you get the impression that the customer is a nuisance and that problems are swept under the rug. The only positive points: - the valet, very professional and pleasant, - the brunch servers, who actually do their job properly, - and the bartender, friendly and competent. Thankfully, they raise the bar somewhat. A dreadful experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Avoid this hotel if you expect even a modicum of professionalism, consideration, and decency.

  DON'T BE FOOLED!! The worst hotel experience ever! We booked a junior suite at a supposedly 5-star hotel, and when we entered, we were shocked by how filthy the carpet was. It was so dirty we didn't even want to stand up; in fact, it felt like our shoes were sticking to it. Absolutely disgusting! We went to reception, and they didn't have another room, so we told the receptionist that we couldn't sleep there. He told us to come back the next day to speak with the manager. The next day, we went back to see what solution they would offer, but they didn't offer any. They claimed the carpet was clean, but the photos and video clearly show that it wasn't. They didn't refund a single euro, even though they knew the room wasn't used, nor did they refund the breakfast we had also paid for. The service was terrible, so much so that we even had to call the police to try to negotiate. A disgrace! It's a shame I didn't read the reviews before booking; there are other guests with the same complaints about dirt on the carpet, in the bathrooms, and in the rooms.
