  A disappointing stay at the Cour des Consuls, especially for a five-star establishment. The room unfortunately did not meet the expected standards: it lacked cleanliness, and we discovered a lizard inside. The shower faucet didn't work properly, alternating between icy and scalding hot water, and the bathtub had a leak that flooded the bathroom. Furthermore, some amenities, such as body lotion, were not available upon our arrival. The service, while courteous, fell short of what one would expect from a hotel of this standing. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. In short, a one-night stay that did not live up to expectations for a five-star hotel.

  2 nights, 2 dinners at Le Cénacle and one lunch at the hotel brasserie, plus drinks at Le 46 bar. The hotel is truly well-located for easy access to the city center and the Garonne River, all on foot. The setting is absolutely superb, from the facade to the corridors, rooms, various dining rooms, and even the courtyard. The service is impeccable; the staff is attentive, caring, and knowledgeable about their craft, but they go above and beyond to meet their needs and anticipate almost everything. The menus at Le Cénacle restaurant are absolutely worth discovering, as are the wines from their cellar and the cocktails at the bar (with or without alcohol). The little extras, like the hors d'oeuvres and petits fours, leave you wanting more, and almost every taste is a discovery. Special thanks to the dining room manager and his staff (including Jade, if I remember correctly), who are absolutely friendly and pleasant. Not only do they present their dishes perfectly, but you can also feel their interest in satisfying their customers and even getting to know them better. And this results in lovely personalized attention. The spa is also very good. It's a bit lacking in music in the hammam and relaxation room, and sometimes a restocking of tea (but it was 6 p.m., maybe that plays a role), and a human presence as well. Having been to the MGallery in Dijon, the spa's welcome is noticeable, and it's a shame, even though you can easily get there and relax. The valet parking service is perfect, as is the reception, and the housekeeping staff is impeccable. However, I did notice a slight stain on the duvet cover. And I always regret here, as in Dijon, that the televisions aren't Smart TVs to connect to them. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi connection is strong. In short, if I return to Toulouse, I will stay there again and highly recommend this upscale establishment.

  Review amended following contact with the hotel and the resolution of our complaint. The professional experience we had for our professional seminar on October 3rd was not good, but once we expressed our dissatisfaction, the hotel management was able to make the necessary commercial gestures to compensate for our inconvenience and make amends. We will therefore repeat the experience, assuming that the last one was an accident.
