- The Beille gîtes are ideal for relaxing in the heart of nature
  In the heart of the village of Les Cabannes, close to the Beille plateau, the Beille gîtes offer furnished apartments for 4 to 8 people surrounded by a large 5-hectare park. 20 minutes from Foix 1.5 hours from Toulouse, 2 hours from Narbonne by car. A direct train also serves the village from Toulouse or Paris. Open in winter and summer.
  A stay to get back to nature
  The apartments are all equipped with a kitchen , a private bathroom , at least 2 bedrooms and heating . Some are accessible to people with reduced mobility . You will have the opportunity to take advantage of the on-site facilities, picnic table, barbecue, ping-pong table, volleyball court, pétanque court, a city stadium . In an effort to protect biodiversity, various measures have been adopted and a discovery trail has been created. Free parking is available on site. Free WIFI is also available around the main building. It is possible to have breakfast on site.
  In the surrounding area, there are many sites to discover. We can mention the unmissable Plateau de Beille, the Lombrives caves, the Quié de Sinsat, Ax-les-Thermes, Niaux caves, the Orlu reserve, Andorra. It is possible to practice many activities such as hiking, cross-country or downhill skiing, canoeing, climbing, cycling and mountain biking, snowshoeing.

The accommodation is a bit old, but it lacks nothing, perhaps in line with the price. The surroundings are very pretty, although the green area where there is only a swing set is. I wish it had been better maintained so the children could play while we were on the small terrace. We had a problem as soon as we arrived Sunday afternoon with the toilet. The cistern and the water drain weren't working properly, but the manager was very quick to repair and fix both problems; perhaps they should have checked earlier. The staff were friendly, and the location is perfect for exploring the Ariège area. The town where it is located is small but has everything you need.

We spent four very peaceful and relaxing days with our family. They are individual cottages, very well equipped with everything you need. Refrigerator, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, several blankets, even a place to store your clothes... Everything is very clean and well maintained. The only things you need to bring from home are sheets, soap, and shower gel, but this is specified when you make your reservation. The best thing about each cottage is the private patio with a table and unbeatable mountain views. Very peaceful atmosphere; at night, we spent a great time gazing at the stars. We stayed in one that was very close to the exit to the village, so we could quickly get there to buy bread, take a walk, or have a drink on the terrace. They accept pets; the lady at the front desk was very kind and gave us a small gift for our puppy. We really liked it and will definitely return; it's a lovely place.

The cottages are a bit old, but the place is magnificent if you want peace and quiet in an incredible setting to enjoy the mountains!
