All our berlingots are handcrafted in the store in front of customers, with 7 to 8 demonstrations per day. Workshop for children.

We welcome individuals as well as senior citizen and school groups (reservations required for groups) with tastings.

You can also find various fine sweets (chamois droppings, Tarbais beans with a chocolate base, praline feuillette as well as nougatine...) hot lollipops.

The specialty of berlingots in Cauterets comes from the fact that it's a spa town; those taking the waters drank sulfurous waters, and to get rid of the unpleasant taste, doctors gave them a candy to soothe their throats. The first berlingots were flavored with honey and mint.
