    • Gastronomic restaurant in Ariège, La Table de Saint-Paul

Géraldine Portoles invites you to discover her gourmet restaurant located in Saint-Paul-de-Jarrat in Ariège. Chef for more than 20 years, she ran a hotel restaurant in Mirepoix, before falling in love with Domaine du Clos de Cathala. In this park decorated with century-old trees, the gourmet restaurant offers you a menu that changes every month, made only from regional products, local, seasonal products from small producers. Ariège is a generous, sunny region and market gardeners and breeders are keen to work the land while respecting the environment. Most products are organic , for pleasure, health and respect for taste!

Sit down in the beautiful, warm and friendly indoor room, it can accommodate around twenty people. In summer and as soon as the first fine days appear, the terrace with a superb view of the Ariège mountains will be a perfect place to taste the delights of La Table de Saint-Paul. Géraldine cooks everything at home , from starter to dessert. The cheeses come from small local producers , as do the meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, etc.

Located 1 hour from Toulouse or Carcassonne, near Mirepoix, Lac de Montbel, Foix, Clos Cathala is also an establishment with 5 luxury guest rooms, including 2 suites. You will appreciate the calm of the place, the beauty of the natural environment and the heated swimming pool.

Absolutely stunning location in the Pyrenees mountains. You would be hard to pushed to find a better view to have your breakfast and relax by the outdoor pool. We are a family of 4 and stayed for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed for longer. Had an evening meal one night which was equally amazing. Highly recommended.

A magnificent setting. Decoration and refined atmosphere with a beautiful fireplace to warm us up. A menu with quality local products. Surprising mixtures but the tastes do not leave you indifferent. Copious plates from starter to dessert and a cheese cart that does honor to Ariège. Thank you for the service and this delicious menu. See you soon .
