The Gavarnie-Gèdre ski resort, cradle of Pyreneism and heir to a long mountain tradition, was created in 1971.
It offers a magnificent and unparalleled high mountain setting in the Pyrenees due to its exceptional panorama of the world-famous Brèche de Roland and the many surrounding 3000m peaks.
The ski area offers 25 slopes including the longest green slope in the Pyrenees, "Les Marmottes" (5.5km).
The pleasure of observing the panorama from the top of the resort is not reserved for the best! In Gavarnie-Gèdre, the whole family can take the chairlifts together and choose their favorite route in ideal circumstances.
Also characterized by quality snow throughout the season, an incomparable welcome and tranquility, all at truly affordable prices, it's easier to understand why ski lovers are careful to keep it a secret!
