    • The Cirque de Gavarnie is magnificent and has always been appreciated by everyone! It is the most famous of the 3 cirques of the Pyrenees (Estaube and Troumouse). In the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, this 33,000ha complex is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is home to remarkable flora and fauna, studied since the 16th century by botanists and scientists. This place is appreciated by artists of all kinds.

1,700m high and 14km in circumference, surrounded by mountains that exceed 3,000m, these are its proportions!

You will also see the Brèche de Roland, a place of legends and stories. A waterfall completes this panorama with a drop of more than 400 m, visible when the snow melts.

Gavarnie's little extra : its ease of access. It's barely an hour and a half's walk from the village. Riders can even do it on horseback.
