Piau Engaly Ski resort

Just 20 km from Saint-Lary, in the magnificent Aure Valley (Hautes-Pyrénées), Piau-Engaly is renowned not only for its altitude (1850 m at the foot of the slopes), but also as one of the snowiest resorts in the massif, often offering exceptional natural snow cover.

Surrounded by the Pyrenees National Park and boasting magnificent panoramas, it offers a varied ski area covering more than 100 hectares. Whether you are a fan of classic skiing, freestyle (with the famous Piau Park, considered one of the best in the Pyrenees) or off-piste skiing (it is popular for its routes), there is something for everyone. Marked trails also allow for beautiful walks on snowshoes or on foot.

As part of its " Natura Piau " project, the resort continues to expand its offerings to diversify its activities and provide comfort for families. For example, you will find:

• The Discovery Garden for families, with a play area, learning slopes, Snowtubing and the Tyrolean Valley (8 zip lines accessible via the covered school carpet).
• A larger, more fully equipped tobogganing area, designed to be inclusive with disabled access.
• Nordic walking trails accessible by chairlift to share the experience of the slopes.
• The Édénéo water fun center , ideal for a moment of relaxation with a view of the snow front.

In addition, access to the Bielsa Valley in Spain is very close thanks to the road tunnel.

Practical: The resort was designed to be entirely pedestrian (foot of the slopes and amenities) and offers shuttles for easy travel.
