Val d'Azun is a nature sports resort which is as beautiful in summer as in winter. Those who love snow will find a hundred kilometers of slopes on two sectors, the Col du Soulor and the Col de Couraduque. It is mainly a Nordic skiing resort, for splendid snowshoeing (on marked but ungroomed trails) and cross-country skiing. There is also a ski area for beginners with a carpet, perfect for first gliding sensations: the Nordic Park. activities are organized during the winter season: supervised hikes, igloo construction, tobogganing... Come and enjoy the landscapes of the Vallée de Gavarnie, alone or supervised by professionals who will introduce you to the joys of long-distance sports sliding.
In summer, Val d'Azun is a haven of greenery, ideal for hiking and trail running, mountain biking or road cycling on the nearby mythical passes, as well as a whole myriad of new supervised activities such as the all-terrain scooter, cani-rando, thematic walks...
