Led by fantastic (and rather funny) guides, groups of 4 to 8 people embark on a two-hour descent, punctuated by splashes, silly challenges, and a few good-natured shouts. Helmet on, paddle in hand, and grinning from ear to ear, you'll discover the river in a whole new way. No naval academy experience required: the activity is accessible from age 12, and the O2Lourdes team always adapts the route to the group's skill level and the day's water flow.

After the descent, you can stay in the area to relax or explore. Lourdes and its sanctuary are a must, of course, but there are also some stunning natural spots: the Pibeste Nature Reserve, the Béout trails, or the Pic du Jer, perfect for digesting the day's activities. Villages like Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre, Jarret, and Ossun offer delicious breaks with small local restaurants, cheese shops, and traditional markets. Want to extend the adventure? Some combine rafting with a more leisurely canoe or kayak trip on Lake Lourdes.
