I spent almost 24 hours with Florent observing the animals of the Ariège mountains in a place he keeps secret (and which I will also keep secret, as promised) because we saw a bear there among the deer, chamois, and wild boar. It was a magical moment in a spectacular landscape. Imagine: It's 7 a.m. The sun rises behind us. We're perched on a rocky spur, on the lookout. We overlook a slope still in shadow. Below, the forest begins. It stops halfway up, giving way to a field of ripe blueberries, and higher up, the summer pastures begin, with the mountain peak in the distance. Deer have already emerged from the woods and are chasing away two wild boar to prevent them from destroying their grazing land. Chamois are walking on steep rocks. And then, a bear arrives from the summer pastures! It runs with its slightly clumsy gait towards the blueberry field. It will remain for a good two hours before our eyes, armed with a telescope and binoculars to better observe it. Of course, accessing this corner of nature, still untouched by humans, requires some effort: a good hike to get there, several hours of waiting in a hide at dusk and dawn, and a night under the stars. Don't expect five-star service. And obviously, seeing the bear isn't guaranteed. But the timeless view of the Pyrenees is. Thanks again to Florent for this incredible experience!

We had an amazing day with le Dahu! All our guides were available, friendly and very knowledgeable. Our snow walking in Beille was the best experience for our students. Thanks for everything.
