  Although we arrived a little late and were very tired from hiking through the mountains, I called ahead to confirm our arrival, and they were kindly waiting for us to check in. The room had two beds and a bunk bed, a comfortable mattress, pillow, and blanket. There's a useful kitchen upstairs. They offered us a dinner menu for €25, which included salad with goat cheese, chicken with potatoes, a drink, and dessert.   Passing by during a wonderful walk, tempted by the "master ice cream maker" sign suggesting a quality product, we ordered four scoops and... what a disappointment!!! They came out of trays that weren't at all artisanal, two of them (passion fruit and lychee) were so foamy, gelatinous, and flavorless that you'd think they were a tray that had been thawed and refrozen... Too bad, it had everything going for it.

  Small restaurant before leaving for a week at the Orlu campsite. We booked the day before on the advice of the waiter present. We arrived and settled in; many of the customers were people staying in the gîtes. The waiter, adorable, informed us that he was not a waiter, that it was not his job, and that there was no cook either; that the owner was in charge of the kitchen. We ordered, and out of 5 dishes, one was simply forgotten. We were kind and understood that it was not easy for anyone. Once dessert was swallowed, we went to pay a bill that we could call excessive. The meal was nothing more than frozen food, a €6 brownie straight out of a package, and an €18 burger!! A little over €25 per person; there were 5 of us, including two children aged 3 and 7. We understood the difficulties of the moment, but we had to remain reasonable and ensure that the quality and price were consistent. Or simply not open outside of meal times for the lodges.
