- The Museum Gardens, located in the Maourine Park in Toulouse, are a true haven of peace and discovery in the heart of the city. They are located in the Borderouge district, north of Toulouse.

  The site extends over 3 hectares around a reed bed (pond covered with reeds), offering a rich and preserved ecosystem. Biodiversity is in the spotlight, with a wide variety of plants and animals.
  It is a place that allows everyone to observe, listen, breathe and taste nature.
  
  Activities and discoveries
  The Museum Gardens offer various activities , such as guided tours and workshops, to discover the local flora and fauna.
  You can stroll under the shade of the sustainable building, get your hands dirty in the earth of the world's vegetable gardens and wander under the wild reeds of the forgotten path.
  
  Please note: the site is labeled 4 Handicaps, which means that it is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, with the exception of the Forgotten Trail.

An absolutely magnificent place 🌳✨! The Borderouge Museum Garden is a real breath of fresh air in the heart of Toulouse. I love coming here to stroll, recharge my batteries, and enjoy the peace and quiet. It's a peaceful, well-maintained, and charming place, perfect for getting away from it all without leaving the city. As soon as you enter, you feel a soothing atmosphere. The paths are well-designed, the plants are varied and beautifully presented. Each season offers a different ambiance: in spring, the flowers explode with color, in summer, the tall trees provide beautiful shade, and in autumn, the golden leaves create a magical atmosphere 🍂. Even in winter, the place remains pleasant for walking and breathing in a little nature. I particularly like the small pond and the areas with benches: you can sit there to read, chat, or simply observe nature. There's always a beautiful diversity of birds and insects, and the maintenance teams do a remarkable job keeping the site clean and welcoming. You can see that it's maintained with respect and passion. The educational side of the garden is also very interesting: you learn a lot about plants, ecosystems, and biodiversity. It's an ideal place for families with children, as they can discover nature while having fun. The explanatory signs are clear and well-designed. What I also appreciate is the tranquility: even when it's busy, you can always find a quiet spot to relax. The site is secure, accessible, and very well connected, with the Borderouge metro station just a stone's throw away. In short, the Borderouge Museum Garden is a little green gem in Toulouse 🌿. You feel good there, you relax, and you can breathe better. Whether it's for walking, meditating, picnicking, or simply enjoying the silence, this is a place I 100% recommend. Thank you to the city of Toulouse for this well-designed and maintained space. I go back there very often and I never get tired of it! 💚

A peaceful place to enjoy greenery in an urban setting. There are children's play areas and a botanical park.
