- The Saint-Pierre des Chartreux Church, located in Toulouse, is a remarkable historical monument. It owes its name to the Carthusian monastic community that built it at the beginning of the 17th century.

I have come across a situation that raises serious questions about the consistency between the official statements of the UGCC and its real actions. A young girl who applied for a place in the Ukrainian Catholic University’s collegium was rejected. The reason: “the impossibility of sharing spiritual experiences with her.” This seems insulting and discriminatory, as if this person has no soul. Such cases make one wonder how the Church treats those who do not conform to its rigid norms. Even more disturbing is that this very diocese publicly criticized the priests who supported the girl. At a time when Ukraine is fighting for freedom, such actions by the Church seem to contradict the very values of freedom and justice. I have come across a situation that raises serious questions about the consistency between the official statements of the UGCC and its real actions. Une jeune fille, qui avait requesté une place au collège de l’Université catholique ukrainienne, s’est vue refuse l’access. The reason invoked: "impossibilité de partager avec elle une expérience spirituelle." Cela paraît blessant et discriminatoire, comme si cette personne n’avait pas d’âme. De tels cas font réfléchir sur la manière dont l’Église traite celles et ceux qui ne correspondant pas à ses norms figées.
