La Lampisterie Stay in Carlaret in a quiet cottage near Pamiers

Located in the Appaméenne countryside, on the edge of the GR 78 which runs along the foothills of the Pyrenees, the old Carlaret station, decommissioned in 1950, has since become a residence with spacious and light rooms in the heart of a large wooded park with a peaceful atmosphere. The Pyrenees to the south offer a backdrop of incomparable beauty and a sumptuous setting for dining on the terrace in the gentle cool of a summer evening.

We welcome you to two lodgings: The station relay and the lamp room.

The station relay: In an adjoining and independent part of the house, an 80 m² apartment on the ground floor, renovated and functional awaits you: ideal for 4 to 6 people. A family room with a double bed and two single beds, a master bedroom with a double bed. A sofa bed in the living room can accommodate a third couple. Large bright living room, equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Senséo coffee maker, toaster, steamer, etc.), bathroom with shower, washing machine; south-facing terrace with garden furniture. Barbecue possible in the shade of the large and majestic American red oak!

You will spend a peaceful stay there, also benefiting from parking facilities and part of the garden. You will have the possibility of renting bicycles to explore the nearby surroundings.

The lamp room: in the garden, a small independent studio can accommodate 2 to 4 people; kitchen area, a mezzanine with a double bed, a sofa bed downstairs.

You are close to the major tourist sites of Ariège: Mirepoix and Foix are 20 minutes away; the upper Ariège is easily accessible. The rich cultural, historical and natural heritage of the region will delight lovers of walks, visits and markets, as well as sports enthusiasts. Whatever your program in Ariège, the Lampisterie will be a prime base just a few kilometers from Pamiers, the main town of the department, and the national road and rail routes leading to Toulouse and Spain.
