Blandine, a woman of charm and character, is happy when the people around her are. For 20 years, his dream has been to open bed and breakfasts, which is rare in the North-East of Toulouse. 10 years ago, it was love at first sight for a charming property which was once one of the main farms in the village for nearly three centuries and which it is renovating.
The large volume of each room has been privileged, the decoration remains simple, friendly, family and tasteful. The old farmhouse houses the office, the TV lounge and the private bedrooms. The barn has been transformed into a large living room where you can enjoy the fireplace, the bar and the library. The sheepfold has become the dining room. The completely modified pigsty accommodates the kitchen for the preparation of elaborate dishes. Under the awning is the summer dining room .
The barn has been restored and transformed into three large guest rooms "Toulouse, Albi and Montauban". Outside, the swimming pool is secure. The large garden with flowers and trees overlooks the countryside. The guest rooms have their own space of greenery, to preserve the privacy and tranquility of each. Their decoration is soft and refined. Reversible air conditioning and wifi are offered.
An outstanding cook, it is with market gardeners and local artisans that Blandine finds the inspiration of the moment to offer original, quality and seasonal meals. Jean-Marie, Blandine 's husband, maintains the whole. Cultivated, good conversationalist, and just as attentive as Blandine, he knows how to create a good atmosphere at the table which allows their guests to be real and relaxed. Their desire to be discreet and to meet the demands of their guests means that their green tourism welcomes a wide variety of people, from France, Europe and even across the Atlantic.
During the week, there are mostly professionals, on Saturdays and Sundays, more people who travel for weddings, birthdays or funerals. American cyclists appreciate these lodgings because the garage is made available to secure your bikes, then on site they find the swimming pool, the conviviality rooms and a homemade gourmet meal.
La Grange de Briac offers a serene parenthesis to its visitors, always respectful of the setting and the quality of the services offered. The prices are attractive, breakfasts included and without surprises.
