Peyragudes station A “family-friendly” ski resort in the Hautes-Pyrénées

In 22 years, the resort has become a multi-sport area adapted to new desires for snow and well-being. With 60 km of slopes, ultra-fast ski lifts and modern facilities, Peyragudes has become a “ next generation resort ”.

In the heart of the Pyrenees, the Peyragudes resort is surrounded by numerous peaks over 3,000 m and extends over 1,500 hectares, between 1,600 and 2,400 meters above sea level. Straddling the departments of Hautes-Pyrénées and Haute-Garonne, its ski area extends over two slopes, Les Agudes and Peyresourde, its two high-altitude villages.

Peyragudes, Peyresourde side at the foot of the slopes, is now connected to Loudenvielle, a village in the Louron valley, by the new Skyvall cable car. A whole range of activities and services are available to you in less than 10 minutes !

In 2016, Peyragudes became the 4th resort in the Pyrenees to be awarded the "Famille Plus" label. It guarantees fun for everyone, whether in its beginner areas, its Family Park, or in the Funslope and snow cross play areas. Or even in the snowpark with its bumps and rails, the permanent slalom filmed and timed or simply on the 51 slopes of the area. Note: the toboggan run to be done on SNOOC machines which allow you to descend with good sliding sensations without necessarily knowing how to ski.

Peyragudes offers activities to explore the ski area and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes: exploring the area in a snow groomer equipped with an 18-seater cabin, discovering the job of a ski patroller in the early hours, visiting the snow factory, learning how to use an ARVA, and watching the sunrise on a ski tour.

The Sherpa base near the resort offers dog sledding for children and adults. In addition, there are free marked trails for those wishing to go snowshoeing.

Also discover the Fat bike, a fun mountain bike with huge tires that allow you to travel on two wheels on frozen and snowy terrain, and the snow scooter. Not forgetting igloo building for ages 4 and up, and wild descents on the only Pumptrack in the Pyrenees at the foot of the slope, a fun, hilly, tarmac course to hurtle down on a snow mountain bike and Fat Bike.

A member of the N'PY chain, the ski area has an exceptional environment, ideally oriented east/west, which allows you to ski all day in the sun on one of its two slopes.

With its 60 kilometers of "snow guaranteed" slopes on 50% of the area thanks to a large artificial snow network, Peyragudes offers very high-quality skiing. Ultra-fast lifts that take you to the top of the resort in record time, modern equipment, rechargeable passes, everything has been designed to make skiing easier.

Always at the cutting edge of technology, Peyragudes is equipped with the Snowsat system to better manage snow resources by calculating the necessary inputs using satellite guidance. The production of artificial snow is optimized based on its height, measured every evening to the nearest centimeter by the 8 snow groomers equipped with GPS.
