    • A gourmet getaway at the Auberge Pierre Bayle in Carla-Bayle

Located at the top of the charming village of Carla-Bayle, the Auberge Pierre Bayle is much more than just a gourmet stop: it's an invitation to a sensory journey. Between sky and mountains, this iconic establishment in the Ariège region welcomes you to a setting steeped in history for a culinary experience where refinement is expressed with sincerity and passion.

A privileged balcony overlooking the Pyrenees and the lake

The inn's greatest asset is undoubtedly its exceptional location. As you sit down to a meal, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views encompassing the majestic Pyrenees mountain range and the tranquil reflections of Lake Carla-Bayle. Whether you choose the covered terrace to enjoy the fresh air or the comfort of an air-conditioned dining room in the height of summer, the atmosphere remains calm and soothing. It's the perfect place to take a break from the everyday, enveloped in a friendly and welcoming ambiance that appeals to both regulars and tourists alike.

An inventive cuisine blending tradition and modernity

Behind the stoves, the chef presents refined cuisine that showcases high-quality regional products. The menu, rich and varied, surprises with its ability to blend local classics with more daring influences. You might succumb to the creamy texture of a traditional duck foie gras before being tempted by roasted monkfish with coconut milk and horseradish, a creative signature dish that awakens the taste buds. Lovers of fine cuts of meat will also find their bliss among the expertly prepared dishes, highlighting the richness of local gastronomy.

Practical information: The establishment has a car park nearby and is happy to welcome your pets. While the ground floor is accessible to people with reduced mobility, please note that the rooms located on the first and second floors are not.

      Enjoy your meal everyone!

Excellent restaurant, featuring local produce and homemade dishes; we had a wonderful time. The view over the valley from the second floor is well worth the trip!

We booked a table two weeks ago for Valentine's Day, naively believing that a confirmed reservation guaranteed... a table. Upon arrival, surprise: our reservation was nowhere to be found. Yet, there was a table available. Just not ours. A mystery of organization. On February 14th, when planning ahead is essential, we would have appreciated a little more attention to detail and consideration. Booking in advance seems to be merely a decorative feature here. Very disappointing for an evening that was supposed to be special.

A very pleasant little restaurant, with a stunning view of the Pyrenees mountain range and cuisine that always exceeds our expectations in both quantity and flavor!
