- The Restaurant Le Schuss welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere at the Grand Tourmalet, located at the foot of the Pic du Midi in Bagnères-de-Bigorre in the Hautes-Pyrénées (65) and open all day, 7 days a week, this real place of life invites you to taste its delicious mountain specialties, in a cozy and warm atmosphere.
  
  This small chalet resembles a cozy tea room and offers crepes, ice cream, and other sweet treats. Gourmet coffees and teas are prepared on site with homemade pastries.
  
  Come and have breakfast facing the Pyrenees on the terrace and enjoy our new cable car (4 people).
  
  Open only for lunch in June, September and November!

A very warm welcome and excellent food; we had four different meals, all delicious, and the portions were generous, including the children's menu. We were able to eat on the terrace thanks to the beautiful sunshine, which was lovely. We highly recommend it and will gladly return 🙂.

The Club of 5, led by two splendid gazelles, enjoyed fondue and raclette at this welcoming establishment. A huge shout-out to Charline who made our evening exceptional and truly deserves a raise for her hard work and dedication. ⭐️

Beautiful scenic drive up from Bag êtes de Bigorre to La Mongie. On advice and to avoid disappointment we had pre booked Le Schuss restaurant. Glad we did, at its peak they were turning customers...

All of the restaurants at La Mongie have similar menus and I think this one deserves it's current rating as the best of them all. It's also the best for coeliacs as there are plenty of gluten free...

Overcooked dried out oven chips, a ropey bit of steak and an insects portion of salad. Wife had a selection of meats soaked in fat! I'm googling how to do CPR . Too crammed inside, where you pay...
