Hôtel de Bagis Historic Monument in Toulouse

The Hôtel de Bagis, also known as the Hôtel de Clary or Hôtel Daguin, is an iconic private mansion located in the heart of Toulouse.

History and architecture

Its construction spanned several eras. Begun in 1537 under the direction of architect Nicolas Bachelier, it was continued in 1611 by Pierre Souffron, who notably created the stone facade overlooking the street.
This stone facade is a unique feature in Toulouse for this period, which earned the hotel the nickname " stone hotel ".
The hotel features Renaissance architectural elements and has been listed as a historic monument since 1889.
