- Dominating the Valleys of Aure and Louron, the family resort offers an area of 19 ski slopes of descent with a beautiful area specially adapted for beginners. Surrounded by mountains, the slopes offer a very appreciable 360 degree view. The geography of the station being collected, you can do everything on foot or by using public transport, Val Louron is a car-free station.
  
  Marked trails are also reserved for snowshoe outings. The more seasoned will prefer the black or red runs in the Aure valley and the peaks of Néouvielle, Arbizon and Hourgade. In après-ski we will appreciate the balneotherapy in Génos.

First time skiing, brilliant nursery with travelator and a a good green run with lift. Will return to do more when good enough. Nice chips and beer.

Excellent family friendly resort. Not crouded at all even at school hols time. Different level of ski passes according to which area if the resort you're using. So quite cheap for learners only using the bigginers/green runs area. Not many restaurants though. Quite a small resort. But nice feel and very friendly. Only 2 ski hire shops. Avoid Louron Sport the first one when you arrive next to the pass vending cashiers, as they are not friendly at all and badly organised.

We stayed in Sarrancolin on an appartment so this ski Station was perfectly located. We were out of the snow line for sleeping and restaurants were.better in Sarrancolin, val louron is only a short drive away.amd an excellent ski resort. They have annual passes which a re great value for locals visiting often.
