In Gavarnie-Gèdre, the longest green trail in the Pyrenees

No more frustration for beginner skiers going around in circles at the bottom of the resort . Direction Gavarnie-Gèdre , in the Hautes-Pyrénées , for a crazy descent of the green Marmottes slope , the longest in the Pyrenees : six kilometers of skiing in complete safety , starting from the highest point of the station , to the bottom of the tracks , crossing the snowy landscapes of the Cirque de Gavarnie . Ten kilometers of descent for beginners at Ax 3 domains

The Ax 3 domaine resort, the most extensive in Ariège , has everything to please beginners ! Indeed, new skiers will be able to gain confidence on a row of three blue and green runs , for a ride of almost 10 kilometers. This gentle slope allows you to discover the 3 areas of the resort since it begins at the top of the Saquet area , and crosses Griole and Bonascre ; enough to enjoy the scenery while moderating the chills!

At full speed on the Mirabelle, the longest red track in Saint-Lary

Much appreciated by experienced skiers , Mirabelle the mythical leaves from La Soumaye at 2370 meters above sea level , to arrive at Espiaube 1600 , after three kilometers of long descent on the slopes of the resort of Saint-Lary . It is accessible by two detachable chairlifts and a cable car, and offers a breathtaking panorama of the Pyrenees . A little hollow in the middle of the ride ? Stop in the middle for lunch at the Altitude des Mouscades restaurant !

Val d'Azun: a 31 km cross-country ski trail

With its 90 km of trails , the Nord d'Azun Nord area is a cross-country skiing paradise, in the heart of the Hautes-Pyrénées . Here, there is something for all levels with green, blue and red runs , but the asset of the resort is undoubtedly its “ Traversée ”: a black track with a length of 31 km, which allows experienced cross-country skiers to go from Couraduque to Soulor , ski in ski out . But that's not all, tobogganing and snowshoeing enthusiasts will not be outdone as the resort offers 6 snowshoeing trails spread over the two areas , as well as a Nordic Park allowing the little ones to learn downhill skiing.

Go down the Col du Tourmalet in a sledge, it will take your breath away!

The Col du Tourmalet is no longer to be presented when it comes to cycling, but have you ever thought of descending it by luge ? This is what the Grand Tourmalet ski area offers ( Barèges - La Mongie ). You go up by the Béarnais chairlift , and all you have to do is slide down 3.3 km of vertical drop in laces to the village of La Mongie . Sensations and laughter guaranteed for the whole family !
