The Resourceful Den: group accommodation in Saint-Lizier, in the Couserans

Located in the heart of the Au Pays des Traces theme park, in Saint-Lizier, in the Couserans, the Tanière des Débrouillards is a reception and collective accommodation center in Ariège designed to accommodate mainly groups of children, young people, school groups or leisure centers ... and even for those under 6 years old!

With a capacity of approximately 40 beds, spread over two levels in dormitories of 8 bunk beds, each floor is equipped with independent toilets and shower rooms, a kitchen and a dining room with fireplace on the ground floor. This configuration allows autonomous and flexible operation according to the needs of the groups.

Educational and flexible accommodation in a natural and responsible setting

The dining rooms are truly multipurpose rooms : they can be used for meals, but also for group meetings, screenings or educational activities. The walls, partly painted with blackboards, offer multiple communication spaces to liven up your days.

Designed with an eco-responsible approach, the Tanière des Débrouillards incorporates a green roof, solar panels for water heating and toilets powered by rainwater harvesting. An environmentally friendly approach, consistent with the park's philosophy.

Breakfasts are served with local products : homemade jams, honey, dried fruit, apple juice from the Pays des Traces. Groups can cook independently or use a local caterer.

The Tanière des Débrouillards allows you to extend the activities offered in the park for a tailor-made stay. The educational approach remains faithful to the world of ichnology – the science of traces and footprints, for an educational and immersive stay in nature.
