Guzet Ski resort

The Guzet winter sports resort, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, offers its skiers a ski area of 40 kilometers of slopes including 29 runs in total: 7 green, 9 blue, 9 red and 4 black for all levels: amateurs, experts, adults, children and families... All spread over 3 distinct ski areas. You will find accommodation there with its many chalets built in the heart of nature, in the forest, offering exceptional panoramas.

The Guzet area is located at an altitude of 1,100 m and is served by 15 ski lifts.

Nordic activities are on the program:

• Ski touring has marked routes in the resort.
• Nordic skiing offers a 3 km cross-country ski trail.
• Several snowshoe trails are possible, independently on marked trails or with a guide.

The resort ensures snow cover is maintained with some 130 snow cannons to perfect the snow cover and guarantee great skiing. Thrill-seekers will have fun in the snowpark (Guzet Protest Park) and the freeride area (slalom stadium). For beginners and those who enjoy skiing without skis, there is a safe toboggan run at Prat Mataou (Guzet 1500), as well as the Guzet Express Rail Luge, which offers more than 1.5 km of descent. You can then enjoy a meal in one of the resort's mountain restaurants.

The 3 sectors of Guzet:

• Sports Sector: Freychet (for the more experienced);
• Easy Slopes Sector: Guzet 1400 ;
• Beginner Sector: Prat Mataou (Guzet 1500) (where the ESF play area and Piou Piou Club are also located).
