You take no risk!

Ideally located between the plain and the mountains, Le Volvestre invites you to discover characterful villages, panoramic views, and small corners of unspoiled nature. The gentle slopes allow the whole family to enjoy our trails, with gentle gradients and durations ranging from 1 hour to 3 hours 45 minutes.

WALK FOR EVERYONE

Two of our walks are accessible to people with reduced mobility with all-terrain equipment:

Peyssies, around the lakes – 3km

Longages, the Rabe and the Sabatouse lakes - 4.7km

We recommend using the trails with a guide and in dry weather.

To rent joëlettes or organize group outings, do not hesitate to contact the Departmental Handisport Council.

THE VIA GARONA

Connected to the existing "Conques-Toulouse", "Arles Way" and "Pyrenean Foothills Way" routes, the Via Garona is a 170km GR©-certified footpath that offers you the chance to walk between Toulouse and Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges with its majestic cathedral. It crosses all the stages between Noé and Rieux-Volvestre.

Whether you're looking for a simple stroll or a more challenging hike, you'll always find a trail that suits your needs.

The hiking map, outdoor activities and hiking information sheets are available free of charge at the Tourist Office, and you can also download or print them from our website.

And if hiking still doesn't suit you, don't worry, discover our website https://www.tourisme-volvestre.fr/que-faire/, there are a multitude of activities: escape game, escape bag, what is it, geocaching, nautical base (in summer), star observatory, educational farm, vineyard visit, libraries, media libraries, museums... there is no shortage of choice in Volvestre.
