    • Located in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Barèges is a renowned spa resort and a renowned winter sports resort.

      It is a traditional village in the Pyrenees, at an altitude of 1,250 metres, surrounded by the Pic du Midi and the Col du Tourmalet. A natural, protected and preserved environment, the various plateaus all around are ideal for walks, hikes in the great outdoors and the pleasures of outdoor leisure activities.

      Barèges is also known for its AOC sheep meat and goat wool. Shepherds and their animals are celebrated in August during the Shepherds' Festival.
