    • Enjoy an unusual experience at Perchoir des Pyrénées, an estate of nearly 16 hectares located in Gerde, a stone's throw from the spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Its position high on a hill offers a plunging view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

      We offer 5 unusual accommodations:

      • La Canopée, a transparent oval open-air dome, designed for couples. With no overlooked views or trees above, this dome allows you to see the sky and stars the most. Comfortable, with its private outdoor Nordic bath (€250/night for 2 people with unlimited bathing included). Open all year round, heated with a wood-burning stove in winter.
      • The Pigeonnier, a stone turret that can accommodate up to 5 people on 3 levels. Extend the experience with its private outdoor Nordic bath (€200/night for 4 people with unlimited bathing included - €210/night for 5 people). Open all year, heated in winter.
      • The fully transparent Big'Bulle, sheltered from view and facing the mountains, can accommodate 2 to 4 people (€250/night for 2 people with unlimited private Nordic bath + €10/additional person). Open all year round, heated in winter.
      • A Transparent Dome nestled on a hill, on the edge of the forest and able to accommodate up to 4 people in 2 double beds (250€/night for 2 people with unlimited private Nordic bath + 10€/additional person). Open all year, heated with a wood stove in winter.
      • The Orangerie, a large, fully transparent greenhouse located in the heart of the forest, can accommodate up to 4 people and offers a magnificent view of the Pic du Midi (from €250/2 people, €10/additional person).

All our overnight rates include breakfast, bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and access to the private Nordic hot tub on the terrace of each accommodation. The hot tubs are heated independently throughout your stay using pellet stoves.

      • We also offer "Romantic" Packs which include rose petals on your bed, a candlestick and its candles and a bottle of champagne (50€/night), wellness massages (70€-120€) and bike rental for the more athletic (10€ half-day, 15€/day). On the estate, you can walk in the forest and enjoy superb views of the Pyrenees. Don't hesitate to visit and feed our many animals: dwarf goats, dwarf sheep, dwarf donkey, horses, chickens and dogs.

You can dine on site if you wish from 15€ per person. We offer meal baskets: platters of charcuterie produced in the village, platters of artisanal cheeses, aperitif platter of vegetable spreads or even a raclette basket. Most of the dishes are prepared by our partners with local and seasonal products.

Wherever you spend the night, each room will transport you to an unusual and magical world!

What a disappointment! Far from the sublime hype we see on social media and the great storytelling, the reality of our stay was quite different. The village itself is quite charming, with quite beautiful surrounding nature. However, the disappointment on site was significant. The argument that could be put forward, as we had seen in some comments, "it's normal, it's country life," didn't work for us, given that we are from the countryside ourselves. Okay, the unusual aspect is there, but the value for money at 200 euros a night is simply unbelievable. If you take the dovecote, you are opposite the parking lot and to the right of the main house, which seems to be the owner's parents' house, so it's not a problem. Here are the main points: ⁃ The dovecote seems to have had its heyday because it is nicely decorated but it is not very well maintained (dirty windows inside, sheets with holes from cigarettes or other things, uncomfortable bedding, dust) ⁃ The dishes brought to us for breakfast were dirty, and that has nothing to do with the "countryside" ;)(we have photos of the cutlery, plates, and glasses that were brought to us with traces of food and stuck paper). These dishes, by the way, were not retrieved from the famous trunk until the next day despite the food leftovers inside. The coffee cups were chipped and cracked. ⁃ The bathroom with the composting toilet isn't ventilated, which isn't ideal for this type of toilet if it's closed, especially since the bag wasn't removed for the two nights and three days we stayed, as we'd been told. The smell was quite strong despite the sawdust, and since it's also the shower... ⁃ We found hair on the sheets in addition to holes probably due to cigarette burns, so we're a little suspicious that the sheets were recently changed. ⁃ The gray pebble shower mat in the bathroom was already dirty when we arrived. ⁃ Upon arrival, there wasn't even a bottle of water or a glass of water; we were just given an empty, damp bottle as consolation. ⁃ No explanation on how to throw away the trash, whether it was our responsibility to do it, or who should do what. The explanations were rather cursory. Basically, we feel that it's a hasty and rushed process. Service, we're playing on the natural side to make people accept a lack of care and maintenance. We shouldn't confuse nature with "I don't care," especially given the prices charged. It's a shame, we really wanted to believe it!
