  OK for the price but the photos don't show that it is sandwiched between an industrial park and a highway. So not as quiet and isolated as expected. Air-conditioned but you can't turn on the fan without the chiller and you won't want the window open due to the highway noise. Room had a small second room with a sofa, up two stairs and then down two stairs from the bedroom. The bathroom is off the separate room so in the dark you need a flashlight to navigate the unequal height stairs just to get to the bathroom. Toilet was the noisiest thing ever, flushing it caused the building to shake -- truly bizarre. Breakfast buffet was minimal, this is France but the croissant were dry and flavorless and the fancy automated coffee machine produced weak and unsatisfying coffee. Wi-Fi was worthless, kept connecting then disconnecting two seconds later, connecting then disconnecting two seconds later, over and over. Foix is a nice little town but don't walk from the hotel on a hot day -- the route is sun blasted and wouldn't be pleasant. However, paying for parking in town was absurdly confusing on a machine with bad instructions and the labels on critical buttons were worn off. We found a nice brew pub (Brasserie de la Fourche) next to the river in Foix.

  We stayed in this hotel on our way to Andorra. It's within walking distance to the city centre (25 min walk). We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. It had a great big bathroom. There was a good variety of food for breakfast (cheese, ham, eggs, pastry). The hotel has a pool which is not very common for a 3 star hotel. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

  We were so happy with this hotel. For the price, we got much more than we imagined. The rooms are SPACIOUS, the pool is great, and there was a very good breakfast. It is a very short drive to town, and you could walk there as well. There's a grocery store nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. The location is a bit "odd," but it's not a huge drawback. Well worth it.
