    • Enjoy an unusual experience at Le Perchoir des Pyrénées, an estate of nearly 16 hectares located in Gerde, a stone's throw from the spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Its elevated position on a hill offers a breathtaking view over the valley and the surrounding mountains.

      We offer 5 unusual accommodations:

      • The Canopy, an oval, transparent dome open to the sky, is designed for couples. With no neighbors or trees above, it offers the best views of the sky and stars. Enjoy all the comforts, including a private outdoor Nordic bath (€250/night for 2 people, unlimited bath access included). Open year-round, it is heated with a wood-burning stove in winter.
      • The Dovecote, a stone turret, can accommodate up to 5 people on 3 levels. Extend the experience with its private outdoor Nordic bath (€200/night for 4 people with unlimited bathing included - €210/night for 5 people). Open year-round, heated in winter.
      • The Big'Bulle, a completely transparent bubble bath situated in a secluded location facing the mountains, can accommodate 2 to 4 people (€250/night for 2 people with unlimited access to a private Nordic bath +€10/additional person). Open year-round, heated in winter.
      • A transparent dome nestled on a hillside, bordering the forest, accommodating up to 4 people in 2 double beds (€250/night for 2 people with unlimited access to a private Nordic bath + €10/additional person). Open year-round, heated with a wood-burning stove in winter.
      • The Orangerie, a large, fully transparent greenhouse located in the heart of the forest, capable of accommodating up to 4 people and offering a magnificent view of the Pic du Midi (from €250/2 people, €10/additional person).

All our overnight rates include breakfast, bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and access to the private Nordic bath on each accommodation's terrace. The baths are heated independently throughout your stay using pellet stoves.

      • We also offer "Romantic" packages which include rose petals on your bed, a chandelier and candles, and a bottle of champagne (€50/night), wellness massages (€70-€120), and bicycle rentals for the more active guests (€10 for a half-day, €15 for a full day). On the property, you can stroll through the forest and enjoy stunning views of the Pyrenees. Don't hesitate to visit and feed our many animals: pygmy goats, pygmy sheep, a miniature donkey, horses, chickens, and dogs.

You can dine in on-site if you wish, starting from €15 per person. We offer picnic baskets: platters of charcuterie produced in the village, artisanal cheese platters, appetizer platters with vegetable spreads, or even a raclette basket. Most dishes are prepared by our partners using local and seasonal produce.

Wherever you spend the night, each room will transport you to an unusual and magical world!

First and last time at this place, very disappointed with the price and service. My partner and I booked two nights in the orangery. Before going, I checked the weather forecast and knew it was going to rain. We spoke to a woman on the phone, and she told us the weather would clear up, but it was already too late to cancel as there were no refunds. I have no complaints about the welcome, the setting, or the breakfast service, but as soon as you try to contact them, there's no one there... we understand they were understaffed, but still. # First evening, no electricity. We called reception, but no one answered. My partner managed to fix it himself and got the power back on. We know the weather is unpredictable and it's not the owners' fault. There was rain, thunder, and lightning in the evening, so of course we didn't sleep well... # 2nd night, more rain and thunder on the horizon. We went outside to eat, and when we came back around 9 pm, it was raining heavily. We saw water everywhere, on the ground. Water had seeped into the orangery. The electrical outlets were soaked, so there was no way to charge anything or take pictures. It was damp and cold, the wood stove was wet, there was even brown liquid on the floor, so we didn't light it. We slept in the cold, the damp, the rain pounding against the windows, the thunder... A horrible night, a terrible start to our vacation... we knew that at this hour there would be no one around. The next day, I got up to get breakfast, which was downstairs, and bam, I took the very narrow stairs with small steps. I slipped at the bottom of the second step while holding onto the handrail; there were about ten steps. I fell on my backside all the way down the stairs, and my left ankle caught on several steps. More of a scare than anything else; I could have broken my ankle or something. And even if I had shouted, I don't think anyone would have heard me. Honestly, I advise against booking when it's raining heavily like that because it's very dangerous. Before leaving, my partner went to reception to let them know, but apparently the woman wasn't shocked or surprised; it was normal. If I could have, I would have gone to see her, but I stayed in the car; I couldn't walk anymore. Behind him, a similarly unhappy man was there because there had also been water leaks in his apartment. Well, apparently no compensation, nothing at all considering the price. We wanted peace and quiet, rest, and to enjoy a bath... We were unlucky with the weather, but as for the accommodations, they really need to be reviewed... As a result, I have bruises and swelling. I hope I can go back to work...

An exceptional nature retreat. Two nights minimum to fully appreciate the scenery and the Nordic bath, to truly disconnect. The service exceeded our expectations. Congratulations on this family gem! 🌺

A magnificent place for a truly magical experience! We spent two nights in the orangery, and it was absolutely enchanting! The feeling of being completely alone in the world, the unique accommodations, the breathtaking view, the Nordic bath... The welcome was excellent, and the service impeccable (breakfast and meal trays available for an extra charge). And a special mention for the animals on the property (a donkey, goats, and horses).
