The municipal campsite of ARREAU ** welcomes you to a quiet and shaded site, on the banks of the NESTE d'AURE river, at the foot of the town centre offering all shops and services including a MARKET of local products on THURSDAY MORNINGS in the TOWN HALL square.
The municipal campsite of ARREAU ** is located at the confluence of the AURE, LOURON and NESTES valleys, at the foot of the famous ASPIN and PEYRESOURDE passes, in a village designated as a "Pays d'Art et d' HISTOIRE" (Land of Art and History ). 11 km from SAINT-LARY-SOULAN and 15 km from LOUDENVIELLE.
It is located at an altitude of 700m, on a 1.5 hectare site, with 79 partially shaded pitches and an "unsupervised" outdoor swimming pool.
The municipal campsite in Arreau** is the ideal starting point for cycling enthusiasts or those who enjoy beautiful hikes, particularly in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park or the Néouvielle Nature Reserve. Easy access to Spain and the Aragon region via the Aragnouet-Bielsa tunnel will allow you to discover the stunning Spanish side and its fantastic canyons.The campsite is closed for 2 months (from October 15th to December 15th)
