- The Ariège brewery is above all a story of passion and family : Pierre-Jean, Marie-Hélène, Bastien and the whole brewery team welcome you to discover the world of the brewery in a friendly atmosphere in Saint Girons in the heart of Couserans and its 18 valleys.
  
  Today, with these 10 00 hectoliters a year sold locally, the Ariège brewery is a must for beer lovers throughout the region by offering an offer varied : lagers, reds, whites, brunettes and the inevitable Christmas beer.
  
  The craft beers of the brewery are made from noble and organic products from the South West, rigorously selected and with this « extraordinary water that explains the growth of paper ».

Pierre-Jean makes several fantastic local brews, he is open most afternoons to sell his various beers and visit. He even has some stored cold which is unusual and greatly appreciated after a big bike ride! This amenity is a great addition to a marvelous little town.

In this small brasserie, welcome and advice are given with a smile. Inside you find yourself surrounded by vats where the magic happens. There is a small choice of a few beers, my favorite being Carabell (amber beer). Go there without delay to taste good Ariège craft beers!!

The best beer since arriving in France. Head brewer very helpful in answering our questions. The beer is mainly sold within 100k of the brewery.

Attention to detail makes for good beer, as does the quality of the Ariège water. Pierre-Jean Faux is a master craftsman, whose beer is served across the Couserans area.

This is my favorite kind of brewery (or Brasserie), great beer and no frills. In southern France you can find a few good Belgian beers at the super market but artisan micro breweries are unheard...
